Prices in US dollars, plus tax where applicable. Annual billing is charged at once and comes out 7% cheaper than twelve months. Seats are in addition to the project owner. The collaboration pass is bought in advance for the months you choose.
With three people and four collaborative projects, Studio already costs less than Professional with add-ons.
Three things that explain the prices
The AI runs on your account
Bitácora doesn’t sell credits. You connect the AI tool you already use through our MCP server, or your API key, and each run uses your account. That’s why the plan costs $15 and not $60. What you pay for here is the workflow, the client portal, collaboration and, on Agency, your own brand.
No caps on people or collaborative projects
There’s no cap on logs on paid plans, no cap on projects from Professional, and no cap on people on any plan. What changes between plans is how much collaboration is included.
Collaboration is paid in advance
A collaborative project your plan doesn’t include is activated for the months you choose, with the people who will join, and you see the total before you pay. It’s a one-time payment, not another subscription, and it lasts the period you buy, just as you quoted it to your client.
Pricing FAQ
Do I have to pay for the AI separately?
You connect the AI tool you already use to our MCP server, or add your API key, and each run uses your account. We don’t sell credits or charge per log. If you already pay for an AI subscription, you pay nothing more.
Is there any cap on people or collaboration?
No. No plan limits how many people join your projects or how many collaborative projects you have. What changes between plans is how much collaboration is included; anything extra is added with a pass or a seat, at the price above. Free has one project and 30 logs a month, and Essential three active projects: those limits are on the cards.
Why is collaboration paid in advance?
So you know what a project costs you before you start it and can cover it with what you charge your client. You choose the months and the people, see the total and pay once. Your plan stays the same, with no other subscription to keep an eye on.
What if more people join a project?
You buy one more seat for that project, at $10 a month. And if someone leaves, another person takes their place at no cost: seats are slots, not names.
And when the pass runs out?
We remind you 7 days before and the day before. When it expires, invited people lose access, although they stay on the project list; only you see the project. Nothing is deleted. If you buy another pass, they get back in exactly as they were. Your client isn’t affected: their link doesn’t take up a seat.
Are there refunds?
No. As a general rule, no payment in Bitácora is refunded: not plans, passes, seats or storage. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the Dominican Republic, or if you buy from Brazil, the law gives you a period to withdraw: the Terms explain it. If you have a special case, write to support and we’ll look into it.
Can I downgrade my plan?
Yes. The change takes effect at the end of what you already paid, with no proration, and until then you can undo it. If the plan you move to includes fewer collaborative projects than you use, we tell you first.
Does my client need an account?
No. They open the link, see the prototype and comment on the screen.
Can I download my work?
From Essential, a ZIP with a capture of every screen. From Professional, each screen as HTML or the whole project in a ZIP. What you build is yours. And on any plan you can take everything in your workspace whenever you want.
