Sketch on top of a screen
Send a screen to a sketch board to draw what you want to change on top of it, or make a quick sketch while you review its animations.

Sometimes it is clearer to draw the change on top of the screen than to explain it: an arrow, a box where the button goes, a strike through what you don't need.
Draw on a screen
- On the canvas, right-click the screen and choose Send to a sketch board.
- Its capture goes into the most recent pending board. The notice tells you which one; click Open.
- Draw on top with the usual tools. For example, in red, so it stands out from the screen.
- Dictate or write on the board what you want to change, and tap the drawing to point at each spot.
When you run, the AI sees the screen with your drawing on top. Everything about boards is in Draw on sketch boards.
A quick sketch while you review the animations
If you review the screens' animations, the Animations modal (the chip next to Resources) has a blue pencil at the bottom, Draw a quick sketch:
- Draw in ink, blue or red.
- Click Dictate to describe the change while you draw, or Done if you only wanted to draw.
- If you didn't dictate, the field at the bottom says With sketch: whatever you write and save with Save as a note will go with that drawing.
The sketch also stays in Sketches, with the Animations label.
With a dictation in progress, Esc discards it and the modal stays open. If you close the modal, it asks whether you want to Keep dictating or Discard and close.
Troubleshooting
- "That screen has no capture yet": wait for it to finish and try again.
- You don't see Send to a sketch board or the Animations pencil: with View only you can't draw or ask for changes.
