The style guide, the documentation and Updates

Three documents the AI writes and keeps up to date with every batch, for you, for whoever codes and for your client. You ask for them with a button and share them in the portal.

Each project can have three documents. The AI writes them from your screens; you don't have to write anything.

Ask for a document

If it doesn't exist yet, its spot says it is empty and has the Ask the AI for it button.

  1. Click Ask the AI for it. A note asking for it is added; if you made a mistake, Undo.
  2. The spot says Asked for in the notes.
  3. Run the notes as usual: the document is written in that run.

How they stay up to date

Once a document exists, every batch updates it: it adds an entry in Updates and changes the guide or the documentation only if what it did changed something they describe. When you run, the Also update Updates option comes turned on; you can turn it off for a batch.

To the right of the guide and the documentation you see when they were updated and how many screens changed since then. If you want to update them now, click Add as a note or, with your API key, Run now.

Share them with your client

In Delivery › Options, turn on Documentation, Design System and Updates. Your client sees them in their portal as they were when you published that update. From the Design System they see the guide, not the colors you edit.

On mobile

In Bitácora Lite, the Documents tab says which ones exist and which are due for an update, with Read and the buttons to ask the AI for them.
