Try a design in the full window

On the canvas you see the screens small, side by side. To judge a desktop design you have to see it at its real size and use it: Try design opens it in the full window, with its links between screens.

Open it

• At the top, next to the views, click Try design. It opens the screen you have active if it's a desktop screen; if not, the project's first desktop screen.
• Or click Try, the button with the triangle in the top right of each screen that isn't a mobile one.

On a computer, a phone or tablet screen is tested at the width it was designed for, centered on a dark background; a desktop screen fills the whole window.

It opens in a new tab. The prototype's buttons take you to their screens, like in the finished product. If the screen changes on the canvas, or the AI is changing it, it updates on its own and goes back to the same scroll position.

Choose between versions

If the screen has versions of an element, you see one and, below the element, a box that says which one it is, with arrows to go to the next. With Shift+← → you go through the versions of the last box you touched. Choose this version keeps the one you see for that element. More in Choose between several versions of a screen.

Dictate while you try

In the bottom right there's a light blue button with the Bitácora logo. Click it and the notes bar opens over the screen: you see the ones waiting and you can dictate or type about what's in front of you.

• While you dictate, the button turns red with the stop square and the time below it. Click it to save the note, or Cancel to discard it.
• With the mouse wheel you go through the note cards. Clicking one opens it in a box, where you can fix its text or discard it.
• A click outside the bar turns it back into a button.
• While the AI is working on a batch in the project, the button glows with stars around it.
