Question
What exactly does my client see, and what don't they?
In their portal, your client sees the screens you publish and what you turn on in What the client sees. They never see your notes, your working canvas, your Resources, your payments, or your team.
Who can do this
- For
- Designers
- Role
- “Can run with AI” and up
- Plan
- All plans, including Free
Your client only sees what you publish in a delivery, exactly as it was when you published it. What you change on the canvas afterward doesn't reach them until the next update.
What they see, if you turn it on
| In their portal | Where it's decided |
|---|---|
| The delivery's screens, to navigate the prototype | What the client sees › Screens: each one has its own switch |
| Canvas, Flow, Documentation, Design System, and Updates | What their portal has |
| Comments, Developer mode, and Downloads | What their portal has, depending on your plan |
| The earlier versions of each screen, to compare | Always, from what you already published |
| Your studio name and, depending on the plan, your brand | Settings › Client portal |
What they never see
- Your notes, your dictations, and what the AI does.
- The screens you didn't publish or that you hid.
- Your Resources, your sketches, and your to-dos.
- What was agreed and collected, and what you write down in My clients.
- Your team and their roles.
To see it as they do, click View as the client in What the client sees. See Choose what your client sees in their portal.
