The connector is not responding or your AI cannot see Bitácora

If your AI chat says it cannot find Bitácora or that it is not authorized, giving permission again is almost always enough. Here is each case and how to fix it.

Your chat cannot see Bitácora

  1. In your tool, check that Bitácora is connected and turned on in this conversation. In Claude, in its connectors.
  2. Ask it: Tell me which projects I have in Bitácora. If it answers with your list, the connector works.

It says “Connector not authorized”

The message says the cause: the key was deleted, the connection expired, the account is blocked, that workspace isn't yours or your role can't run. If it expired or was removed, give the permission again from your tool:

ToolHow
ClaudeIn its connectors, Bitácora › Connect
Claude Code/mcp, choose bitacora and Authenticate
Cursor or VS CodeTurn the bitacora server off and on again; the browser opens
Gemini CLI/mcp auth bitacora
Codexcodex mcp login bitacora

In the Bitácora window, click Give permission right away: the request expires after 15 minutes.

Other messages

  • “Your role in this space does not allow running notes”: the connector requires the Can run with AI role. Ask whoever runs the project for it.
  • “This connection is read-only”: when you connected, you chose Read only. Revoke the permission and connect again with Read and edit.
  • Your chat cannot see a project: the connection may be set to Only the project for a different project, or the project belongs to someone else. Your connector works in your workspace; projects shared with you are run from Bitácora.
  • “Another run is working on…” and the names of the screens: there is a batch running on them. Wait for it to finish, or stop it with the X on its panel.
  • “Too many requests in a row”: wait the seconds it says and try again.
  • The AI says it is waiting for your permission: you have Confirm each batch before running it turned on in Settings › Artificial intelligence. Accept in the Run this batch? panel on the canvas, or turn that setting off.

If none of this works

Disconnect Bitácora in your tool, revoke the permission in Settings › Connector and connect again from scratch with its guide. If your tool cannot open the browser, use an access key.
