When you share a project, each person comes in with a role. You choose the role when you invite them and change it whenever you want in Project team: hovering over each role shows what it allows.

The four roles

The Owner

Each studio has one Owner: whoever created it. It isn't assigned or transferred. You're the Owner of your own studio; in a project someone else shares with you, you have the role they gave you.

When something is out of your reach, you'll see Your role in this project does not allow this.
