Reviewing isn't looking at the screens on the canvas: it's using them. This routine fits in ten minutes.

1. Use it at its real size (3 minutes)

Go through the main path the way your client would: get in, do the important thing, and get out. Don't fix anything yet.

2. Dictate as you go (4 minutes)

Every time something slows you down, dictate right then, on that screen, pointing at the spot. On your phone, pinch to see the bar; in Try design, use the button with the logo. Don't run anything yet: let them pile up.

3. Go over what you don't see by using it (2 minutes)

  • Each screen's Accessibility notices: contrast and tap target size. See Fix a screen's accessibility notices.
  • The copy: what's quick to change, change by hand with Text.
  • The project's To-dos, in case something was left half done.

4. Run everything together (1 minute)

Click Run: all the notes go in the same batch. While the AI works, you can move on to something else. When it's done, go over each change in Review with its before and after. See Run your notes and review the changes.

With your team

If several people review, split the screens into groups and have each person approve their own: see Split the review with your team.
